ARP Grant Funding Received
Kenmore Neighborhood Association received $23,374 in funding from the City of Muncie’s American Rescue Plan allocation. Grant dollars are being used for neighborhood beautification and celebration.

Kenmore History
The history of the Kenmore neighborhood traces back to 1929, envisioned by a developer as a refined residential district just west of Muncie’s bustling Northwest section and near the local college campus. Over the decades, Kenmore developed into a picturesque community, with homes set against rolling hills and scenic vistas, centered around the much-loved Guthrie Park. Educational excellence has remained a cornerstone of the area, bolstered by institutions like Westview Elementary, Burris Laboratory School and Ball State University, which provide outstanding learning opportunities.
